Research has shown that the terpene profile of cannabis (how the bud smells) is a good analogue for the consumer’s experience—much more reliable than genetic lineages or the old indica-or-sativa distinction. We group our cannabis products into four different categories: Gassy, Earthy, Fruity, and Floral. Each of these four terpene profiles has a distinct feel that supports a particular flavor of experience.
